My wife and I have apartment insurance through this agency. We got really helpful advice for scheduling wedding rings that gave us the right coverage and saved us money!

I’ve had my apartment insurance and pet insurance through this company for several years and have never had an issue! The staff helped explain all of the details of my policies and gave me helpful advice for the type of recommended coverage for my needs (which wasn’t wasn’t always the more expensive option).

I purchased a car and was referred to them for auto insurance. When my first insurance was too expensive, and I asked to shop for a cheaper one, they set me up with safeco...which ended up being more expensive. I decided to search for a cheaper insurance on my own. I found a cheaper insurance, told them I no longer need their services, and they agreed to cancel my SafeCo policy. I spoke to the owner twice to verify that my SafeCo policy was cancelled and he assured me he sent the right documentation but a month later I was charged for both my SafeCo insurance AND my new insurance because they never cancelled my policy and now aren't responsive to calls or emails.

Pretty sure this company isn't in business anymore - they don't return messages and all that picks up is an answering serviced.

Horrible - I bought a car and had to get coverage that day. They quoted me $1500 for the year but when I got my policy it was only 6 months - total scammers. And yes he did send the email below but nothing was resolved and did not return my emails/call. I was quoted $488 from another company for insurance for 6 months. I have had my license 25 years, no tickets, no accidents, no claims - $1500 is high even for a year and I knew that when I was on the phone but I was in the dealership and the guy on the phone knew I wouldn't be able to read all the fine print. Honestly - the owner should take responsibility not just send over an email and respond to reviews as if there was an actual resolution. When I was on the phone it was a new agent and he had to call the owner to verify if he was doing things right so the owner was aware of everything. And now, I have gotten a message that says if I don't take down my review I will be sued for slander! Great people to deal with LMAO

Here are our messages below - the owner never called responded after checking the recordings because he knew I asked if it was for a year and the rep said yes. Own it and stop overcharging people.

Harborside Financial & Insurance Group Inc. I will review the tapes tomorrow all calls are recorded and if you are correct I will fire the employee on the spot if how ever I have the recording and no such claim was made you better take that post down. Please call me Monday

Sarah Marie Funny - you respond to all my reviews but not my email. I will call and also let everyone know you have threatened to take me to court because of my review! Another company gave me a quote of $488 for six months I have had my license 25 years no accidents no claims no tickets.

Sarah Marie Hi - I called you - waiting for a call back. The employee spoke to you on the phone during the quote. We were on a 3-way call so when you see that you guys told me it would be a year policy will you fire yourself as well? Or you can do the right thing and reimburse me.
