Renters Insurance

Will my landlord’s insurance policy cover my laptop stolen in the rented house?

Someone broke into my rented house and my laptop got stolen yesterday. Can I ask my landlord to reimburse my laptop? Does my landlord's insurance policy cover it?

No. Your landlord probably has gotten a homeowner insurance to protect their property. Therefore, your laptop is not under the coverage of the homeowner insurance.
But you, as a renter, will need a renters insurance to cover your laptop and other personal property.
